Friday Night Services—Facebook Live

Beginning at 7:30 PM (most Fridays), or 6:00 PM (the last Friday of each month and every Friday during the summer), the service will be streamed on our Temple Beth El Facebook page (

You do not need to have a Facebook account to view the service, but you do need a Facebook account to comment during the service.

To create a Facebook account, go to and enter your name, email or mobile phone number, password, date of birth and gender. Click “Sign Up.” To finish creating your account, you will need to confirm your email or mobile phone number.

To view the service:

  • Beginning at the time listed (not before), follow the link in the calendar. You will need an internet connected device (computer or cellphone).
  • You can also view the videos after they have begun on the Temple Beth El Facebook Live Videos page ( You do not need to have a Facebook account to view the service, but if you have a Facebook account, we invite you to participate by writing in when prompted as well as commenting throughout the broadcast. 
  • NOTE: If the video does not appear, the live video has not started. Simply refresh/reload the browser page (usually found at the top left of the window) every 30 seconds until the New Live Video appears and left-click on the video. If you are still having problems, follow the detailed instructions for desktop/laptops here, mobile/tablet here or instructional video here.



Our service will be from our prayer book, Mishkan T’filah. You can download a copy of this book from the CCAR (click image on right). Cantor Fine will assist in guiding you to the correct pages throughout the service. You can also follow in the prayer book located on the screen during services.

Saturday Morning Torah Study and Shabbat Service—Zoom meeting video conference

Beginning at 9:00 AM. Study the weekly Torah portion with Rabbi Tiwy every Saturday morning. Reading of the text and discussions are in English, though Hebrew knowledge is helpful.

Beginning at 10:00 AM, join an interactive video conference for a short service, Torah and Haftarah readings, discussion of the Torah portion, and a virtual lunch.

  • You will need an internet connected device (computer or cellphone) or a telephone.
  • Just before 9:00 AM for Torah study or 10:00 AM for the service on Saturday morning, click on this link (https://us02web.zoom./j/82902427314) in the web browser of your choice or…
  • Call (253) 215-8728 with the meeting ID of 829 0242 7314 and a password of 324538. Your microphone will be turned off when you enter so make sure to turn it on before you plan to participate. We do this only so that the group is not distracted by people joining during the remote services. AUDIO ONLY.
