Description: We continue our exploration of the riches of the Talmud as we study tractate Horayot. This section of the Talmud deals with erroneous rulings issued by a court and unwitting actions performed by leaders of the Jewish people and the appropriate atonement for such actions. It is certainly relevant to our lives today. We closely read the English version of the text, but often refer to the Aramaic/Hebrew. All are welcome to join the class (even if you have not studied Talmud before).
Textbook: Koren Talmud Bavli, Noé Edition, Vol 32: Avoda Zara Horayot, Hebrew/English
