Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as our 5th & 6th grade religious school teacher at Temple Beth El, Tacoma. As a teacher in our Sunday school program, you will play a vital role in educating and inspiring our students about Jewish faith, culture, traditions, and values.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to the needs and interests of students. Teach fundamental concepts of Judaism, including history, holidays, rituals, ethics, and Hebrew language. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued, respected, and encouraged to participate. Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and resources, such as storytelling, discussions, arts and crafts, music, and multimedia, to enhance learning experiences.
