I grew up at Temple Beth El. I was Consecrated, Bat Mitzvah’d, and Confirmed here. When my first child was starting Kindergarten, we went to the kid services during High Holidays, and I was hooked. The community feeling I remembered was matched with a commitment to our family’s values: justice, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, and anti-racism. Now, my very energetic kids feel like TBE is an extension of our home.
Communities and spaces like this don’t just happen, they need human and financial support. That’s exactly why we’re TBE members and donors.

We give because financial support is essential for the long term viability of our Temple. We value celebrating and enjoying life cycle events with our family and community of congregants and friends. We give because it provides an example for giving to others. Finally, we give because it promotes self-esteem and another way of expressing gratitude for all the support TBE has provided us. Bob and Joan Garden We donate to Temple Beth El because it reflects the values we want to pass on— Jewish learning, connection and belonging, and a community that welcomes many ways of being Jewish. In a small community like ours, every gift is an investment in the future we want to create.

I donate to TBE because the TBE community shows the most compassionate support for those in need of a caring hand. We need to stay connected to one another in these challenging times.
