Temple Beth El offers Shabbat services every Friday evening and Saturday morning and uses the prayer book Mishkan T’filah: A Reform Siddur for Sabbath and festival worship. All are welcome to attend our worship services.
Friday evening services usually begin at 7:30 p.m., and are followed by an oneg Shabbat, a dessert reception. The last Friday of each month services begin at 6:00 p.m.
Saturday morning services begin at 10:00 a.m. and are followed by a Kiddush lunch. Services are preceded at 9 a.m. by a Torah Study session.
Services Especially for Young Children
Once a month starting in October, our entire community gathers for a Shabbat, erev Shabbat or Havdalah service that is focused on the creation of community across the generations. These services include the participation of our religious school students. “Community Shabbat Celebrations” which will focus on various themes throughout the year. There will be activities and services appropriate for all ages. The schedule will vary depending on the theme. The service time will vary depending on the schedule.
